The MISSION
To fulfill a personal vision of collaboration and harmony among community-based and community-oriented professional nurses that brings seamless health promotion and nurse-directed health care to all communities.
The PURPOSE
The Purpose if is to build a virtual community of practicing community-oriented nurses, students with an interest in raising the quality of life in their communities, and educators with theoretical and practical knowledge and expertise to share.
EXPECTATIONS
Our expectations are high:
- That nurses will find this virtual community place a beneficial oasis to showcase contributions of merited stories, research studies, epiphanies of experience, and helpful practice hints.
- That nurses and student nurses may engage in productive dialog in the Discussion Forum that engages thought and brings commitment to understanding and serving community interests.
- That educational opportunities housed here will contribute to the efforts of building capacity in Public Health Nursing.
