About us
This site is supported by Framework Health, Inc., a non-profit health promotion and education-focused company located in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia. Linda Royer is the founder and manager of the Dimensions in Community Health website. She has identified the following needs:
- a showcase for community-based, community-oriented nurses and their subordinates to explain what they do to promote health in various populations they serve.
- a common ground for community-oriented and population-based health professionals to share ideas and promote program development and research
- a nexus for promoting research, program development, initiatives related to community health
- a gateway to two science-based interventions for areas of high concern: tobacco use and weight management.
