Interventions & Strategies IN-TER-VEN-TIONS . . .
A term health professionals use for strategies designed to help individuals alter/improve their behaviors, to make living more productive and satisfying, to promote health and resist disease or accident.
The examples here are worth looking into. Why? Well, with almost 1/4 of us addicted to nicotine and tobacco use and 2/3 of us somewhat overweight, we need a little help getting on the right track. Consider the cost-benefit comparison if you are one of these two groups and you continue in your current pattern. A small investment in either/both of these interventions confers a huge dividend in years of life saved.
